MISSIONARY
We maintain a vigilant life of prayer to more effectively teach and live the WORD, and to demonstrate the love of Christ by serving the needs of others. Also, we fellowship and share with Missionary Ministries of other churches.
YOUTH
We work with children and youth of all ages. Out goal is to assist them in the varied transitions of life, developmental and social. We help them to learn and practice Biblical Values and to resist the negative pressure to which they may be subjected. With the assistance of the Connecticut Conference of the United Church of Christ, we provide scholarships, in some measure, to all our college and college bound students.
WOMEN'S
We seek to unify, strengthen and encourage our women in their service to God, the church, and the body of Christ, generally. We affirm, share with each other, and provide a support mechanism during crises. We strive to be a model for Young Adult Women who feel the need for the insight and wisdom of older women. We serve outside the doors of the church in a variety of ways. Through an Annual Women's Day, we contribute to the church's Annual Budget.
MEN'S
We seek to unite all the men in their service too God, the church, and the body of Christ. We seek to grow our faith through the hearing of the Word of God and to model our lives by that Word. We are intentional about sharing our faith and God's plan of salvation with those in our circle of influence. Through and Annual Men's Day, we contribute to the church's budget.
PRAYER WARRIORS
We hold up the church in Prayer before God at all times. We have an HOUR OF POWER prayer weekly on Monday evenings from 6:30 -7:30 P.M. We have times of prayer accompanied by "fasting". We have thirty minutes of prayer on Sunday Mornings before worship. We support the pastor through prayer as he travels back and forth to
MUSIC
We have praise leaders to help prepare the hearts and minds of the congregation for worship through congregational songs of praise. The Gospel Choir, too, enhances the spirit of worship as it ministers through choral singing. The choir, quite often, accompanies the pastor on his speaking engagement. The Praise Dance Ministry is currently transitioning.
